Health Benefits
Medical Insurance:
The Organization offers medical deductible funds through a Health Reimbursement Agreement (HRA). The Organization will cover deductible costs for both medical plans: Base Plan🡪 individual ($5,000) and family ($10,000) plans and Upgrade Plan🡪 individual ($5,000) and family ($10,000). HRA funds can not be used to cover dental or vision deductibles.
Dental Insurance:
Dental insurance is offered separately. Our in network plan covers Diagnostic and Preventative (exams, x-rays, cleanings, etc.) paid at 100%. Basic Services (endodontics, fillings, etc.) are paid at 100%. Major Services (crowns, implants, etc.) are paid at 60%. An Out of Network Plan is also available. See Human Resources for more details.
Group Term Life Insurance:
Offered to all full-time employees. The Organization will pay the premium cost for $20,000 of Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage.
Vision Benefit:
Annual exams, copay for glasses according to plan parameters.
Dependent Care FSA:
Staff can set aside pre-tax dollars towards dependent care expenses.
Optional Life:
Additional coverage is available in increments from $25,000 to $200,000. Coverage for spouse and dependents is also available. See Human Resources for more details.
Short-Term Disability:
The Organization pays the entire premium for short-term disability. The insurance covers 60% of basic weekly earnings up to $1800 for 48 weeks. This insurance is available 30 days after disability begins and includes partial disability.
Long-Term Disability:
The Organization pays the entire premium for long-term disability. The insurance covers 60% of earnings up to $8000 monthly. This insurance is available after STD ends. Benefits are to age 65 and/or Social Security Normal Retirement Age whichever is first.
Retirement Contributions 401K:
The 3% Automatic Contribution will be made for all eligible employees, even those not contributing on a per-pay basis. There is also an Employer Match of up to 2%. Plan eligibility for the Automatic Contribution and the Employer Match will be 6 months (with a minimum of 500 hours). See Human Resources Office for more details.
Employee Assistance Program
Short-term counseling service available for legal, marital, financial, and any other type of problem affecting an employee or family member.
Sabbatical Policy
For every 7 years of employment, you get 1 month off.
This benefit is for staff to fulfill a career goal, life goal or build a skill. The main purpose is to get away, renew, refresh. Sabbatical activities should directly relate to your job. A sabbatical doesn’t have to be strictly about education or training. It can be about pushing limits or getting in touch with a creative side.

Vacation Leave
Full-time employees earn vacation days as follows:
4 day Personnel with 9 Hour Shift:
0-4 Years: 12 vacation days
5-9 Years: 17 vacation days
10 years+: 22 vacation days
Directors, VPs, and Officers: 24 vacation days
3 day Personnel with 10 Hour Shift:
0-4 Years: 9 vacation days
5-9 Years: 13 vacation days
10 years+: 17 vacation days
3 day Personnel with 12 Hour Shift:
0-4 Years: 9 vacation days
5-9 Years: 13 vacation days
10 years+: 17 vacation days
Directors, VPs, and Officers: 18 vacation days
Sick and Safe Leave
Full-time employees earn sick and safe leave follows:
4+ Day Personnel with 9 Hour Shift: 72 hours/8 days
3 Day Personnel with 10 Hour Shift: 60 hours/6 days
3 Day Personnel with 12 Hour Shift: 72 hours/6 day
Regular Part-Time Employees earn sick and safe leave as follows:
Regular Part-time Employees earn .038 per actual hour worked and may use up to sixty-four (64) hours in one calendar year.
The leave may be used to care for the employee’s own or a family member’s (must be residing with the employee) mental or physical illness or injury, parental leave, or issues related to domestic violence, sexual assault or stalking. The CHRO or employee’s supervisor may request a physician’s statement documenting the use of sick leave. An employee who is sick for three or more days must provide a doctor’s statement that he or she may return to work. Accumulated sick leave will not be reimbursed in the event of resignation or termination.
Note: If you choose not to enroll in the organizations health insurance, please provide an opt out reason for insurance records. Dental and Vision benefits can be elected separately from our standard Medical/Rx plan.
Medical coverage offered by HealthPort meets the minimum value standard according to the Affordable Care Act. However, employees are welcome to explore options offered by the Health Insurance Marketplace. Purchasing insurance through the Marketplace would result in a loss of employer contribution toward premiums.
